{"id":4227,"date":"2025-11-09T23:13:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-09T14:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/optoele.ed.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/?p=4227"},"modified":"2025-11-10T23:21:05","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T14:21:05","slug":"piers2025%e5%8d%83%e8%91%89","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/optoele.ed.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/?p=4227","title":{"rendered":"PIERS2025@\u5343\u8449"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hello everyone!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m Ssali Hussein, a postdoctoral researcher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would like to share my experience participating in the 2025 Photonics and Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS), a premier international conference focused on photonics and electromagnetics that was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from November 5th to 9th, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/optoele.ed.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/\u753b\u50cf2-646x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4228\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference brought together over 1,000 participants from more than 50 countries, featuring a wide range of presentations covering topics such as electromagnetic theory, optics and photonics, metamaterials, antennas and microwave technologies, terahertz technology, remote sensing and imaging, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had the opportunity to give an oral presentation on our research results concerning integrated Wilkinson combiner\u2013antenna photomixer devices. It was a great experience to exchange ideas with researchers from around the world and receive valuable feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/optoele.ed.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/\u753b\u50cf3-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4229\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chiba itself is a vibrant and welcoming city, and I particularly appreciated the abundance of halal restaurants, which made my stay even more enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participating in PIERS was a truly enriching experience, and I look forward to applying what I learned to my future research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone!
