Hello everyone!
I’m Ssali Hussein, a postdoctoral researcher. I would like to share my experience attending the Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC 2025), a leading international conference in the field of high frequency engineering. This year’s conference was held on Jeju Island, South Korea, from December 2nd to 5th, 2025, bringing together experts, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world.

APMC featured a broad range of technical sessions covering topics such as microwave circuits and systems, millimeter-wave and terahertz technologies, antennas, electromagnetic materials, and emerging applications. The conference continues to serve as an important forum for sharing the latest advances in high-frequency technologies.
I had the honor of serving as a co-chair for the oral session [WB2] Advances in Millimeter Wave and THz Phased Array ICs, where I also presented our work titled “Generating Enhanced THz Power via an 8 × 1 UTC-PD Array Integrated with a T-Junction Combiner”.
Jeju offered a beautiful and serene environment, making the conference experience more enjoyable. The island’s natural scenery, warm hospitality, and unique culture added a pleasant dimension to the trip.
Participating in APMC 2025 both as a presenter and session co-chair was an enriching and motivating experience. I am excited to integrate the insights gained into our future research.
Thank you!
